Here, a year or two ago, there was a break-in at this guy's ninth floor apartment. Two guys broke in, one gun between them, and the unarmed guy kept an eye on the occupant at the front door while the other sacked the place. The occupant overpowered the intruder, and the other, armed, intruder came back, fired at them, severely wounding (I think he ended up dying) his partner, then escaped out the window. I use 'escape' lightly.
There was no fire escape. He fell to the ground and was in critical condition when the news stopped covering the story. Edited by reifidom - 07 May 2007 at 10:08am |
