Well, apparently I have to turn to the tippmann forum for this.

I'm going to be flying (commerically) at the end of June, and with my cocker I would really like to take my HPA tank.  Obviously I have to have the regulator removed, and then re-installed.  How hard is this to do?  Could I do it myself, and if not, is it likely I could find someone to do it for me?

Take any hardware (nipple, gauge, etc.) off that will impede a strap wrench. Use said strap wrench around the reg (with another around the bottle) and unscrew the reg. Repeat in reverse order when you want to reattach it, and do not use any thread locks. If you're ever uncertain, have a competent person help you.

Cool, I was sure it was pretty strait forward, just making sure.  I'll have somebody do it for me (and show me how to do it) this weekend when I'm finished playing.

Another straight forward thing I'm sure you know but just saying it for safety sake... Make sure there is no air in it when you do it.

Wgp isn't stupid, though, so I don't need to mention that to him.

you could possably just ship it to where you are going and not have to worry about talking it apart.

I know he's not stupid.  But sometimes when things aren't mentioned you don't remember or don't think about it and then problems can arrive.

Of course he's smart enough to know but I said it just for safety's sake.
