Nice to know that you and your friends will be playing safe with a pretty nice chrono, if y'all choose to use it.

yep, I use it on my markers and unless the feild checks I will get it out there too.

I do not want to injure anyone and I do not want to get hurt, I am 41, takes awhile for things to heal now-a-days .

I have had the F1 for almost as long as the A5.  I did not plan to "play" right away when I got the A5, I wanted to 'get a feel' for how pb markers worked.  Running it through a chrono seemed like a decent way to see how it worked.  just another tool to tune the markers.  Besides after reading about turning the vel adj all the way in to disassemble the marker, it was sort of a must have to reset it ...

^ha

Looks like you've got a decent start going for them both. Any plans for either of them?

I am going to look for a barrel for the 98 this month, my brother-in-law is on 30 days leave and will be home, I am going to take him shopping and try to get him interested.  I was thinking a j&j ceramic for a starter, seems a decent price and barrel.  My son will most likely be using the 98. { in the back yard, it will be against me  I hope he will "play nice" with dear old dad LOL }

My son is looking forward to hitting our local feild, I want to play with the new gear some before I go.

From another thread, I am looking at putting regulators on them.  I saw a noticable difference in fps from CO2 to HPA.  I was thinking I would see what I can find with gauges, not sure if gauges are usefull or not though.

Just so you know, there is no difference in fps when comparing HPA to CO2.

HPA is stored in the tank as a pressurized gas.  It tends to be much more consistent, more efficient, and cheaper in the long run.(after the initial investment.)

CO2 is stored in the tanks as a liquid.  It is much for subject to change it's pressure and such depending on the weather.  During high rates of fire, without an expansion chamber, CO2 does not have enough time to return to it's gaseous form as it enters the gun. This can cause inconsistency and innacuracy. Though, for many, CO2 is the only option, as they don't want to drive to get HPA tanks filled.
