The WAS board is supposed to be capable of reaching 30 bps so I guess it's possible. As for the best board, I'd say the APE rampage board is better. Supposedly the WAS board eats batteries and the APE board is easier to program. It can only reach 25 bps but if that's not enough then you need help. Check the reviews on www.pbreview.com.

what is the best way to use proper grammar should i do it like this "What is the best e-grip for the 98 custom? This guy said he can do 30 bps. Is that true?" I'm not trying to be mean, but using some periods and getting the words in the correct order help a lot. |

No, he has a point. Good grammer definately helps us understand the the question(s) and write a complete answer. As for rate-of-fire, you need to understand the difference between potential and what you can actually achieve. Hardly anyone can pull back a trigger to break 16 bps. Worry more about good shot placement first. pbreview.com will help you in your search as well as your local pro-shop. Edited by TheHoff - 09 July 2007 at 12:10pm |

1 he wasnt shooting paint, the solenoid might be able to do 30 but if a 98 has act in it it will stop the board, ive had to get my was board replaced twice and so many other people i know have to because the assembly line was pathetic and melted circuits, ape is ok, a 98 will not do 30bps even ramping with paint in it. lol he wasnt shooting paint, he was trying to rock the trigger like a rocker trigger, but umm he needs to learn the bottom trigger is a longer pull so it slows him down... and whether you pull with 1 or 2 fingers, if its not a rocker it wont shoot faster...he didnt have an electric hopper so he might have been able to break 30bps but never shoot it, and listen to the solenoid, you can hear it miss and stop picking up for a cycle, meaning he is going to kill the board fast. if you want a speedball gun, bye one, dont pervert a woodsball gun. and shooting over 15bps just means you have horrible accuracy and suck, so dont go E and just pull 15 bps yourself...

This was painful to read. Couldn't get past the first three lines. There is something to be said about proper punctuation and grammar as already stated by other members. |

hehe you again... using correct grammar makes your words iron clad, and most things in paintball are based on opinion i happen to be very opinionative and dislike the fact that new players get off on the right foot and get a good gun like the 98 then get lit up by speedball players who oddly feel like playing woodsball and then the new players think the faster the gun, the better. just like every new player will think a $1500 gun will be infinatly better than a 200 dollar gun, and thus they get the notion that speed vs personal ability is beter. you have to admit, if more new player saw good pumps players or semi users take out speedballers, they all would have tac caps and 40 ball loaders. (a guy who thinks he is a sniper is better than a guy who thinks 20+bps means your going to win)

I agree that throwing ropes of paint can be a crutch for poor playing ability. I would love nothing better than to see seasoned speedball players have the semis taken from them and have pumps put into their hands. I'd doubt they'd know what to do. But we are a society of one-up-manship. We will do anything to help give us an edge. It doesn't matter if it is our toys or our WOMD. Technology rules and complements our lives (and to others a detriment). So, don't get down on the guys that want their markers to empty their hoppers in 10 seconds or less. There are just as many good players as bad with uber-markers. The bad players will figure out on their own that having a $1000 marker won't make them a tourney champ. You also can't discount the people that like to work on their markers like some people like to tweak their sportscars or motorcycles. They do it just because they can. |

It'll work if the serial number on your gun is after 893,000. Plus you can look inside the gun's grip once it's apart and you'll be able to see the cutouts for the electric components. |
