i have an A-5 and i was wondering if i had to do anything special to it to make my co2 tank hang vertically. i was just going to take out the steel braided hose and screw it directly into the power tube

I think you can just screw it in. May I ask why? That will look so ugly and noobish. Only real benefit would be no co2 getting into the internals. Edited by RoboCop - 02 September 2007 at 1:35am |

cause CO2 is actually stored as a liquid and with the tank vertical the liquid is on the bottom of the tank not the top where it is being released into the gun. accentually you would get only gas.

In theory "no liquid" sounds great. What about when you start running around and slosh liquid to the top of the tank as you shoot?

I've heard rumors that it does harm your gun after a while...

A heavy tank, or "torqueing" the tank can deform the area of the body around the tombstone adapter. This has the potential for creating air leaks. |
