I think thats actually a Tequila Sunrise instead of the Tequila matrix, which would make it slightly rarer.

How much did you pay for it?

Yeah, it's a tequila sunrise. That's the one that was on e-bay recently right?

They're fairly rare and tend to fetch a pretty good price. Not the best board out there, but it'll do for now. Try finding yourself a Tadao or Freeflow "Anderson" board to make it really sing.

Also, as a rule, the older the Matrix, the better it shoots.

I'll second that! I keep debating whether to sell my DMLCD with Anderson Board when I get my RACEgun this month

Then I realize, "Why would I give up what is essentially a tourney-legal machine gun?" NOTHING lays down paint like a DMLCD. Best back-player marker I've ever owned.

im going to try out hte NYX board, and see if i like it, ill more than likely get a tadao board for my LCD, as soon as i get rid of some of my older guns.

DT, I'm pretty sure an Osiris tops a DMLCD. I'll let you borrow mine once I have the RACEgun up and working. Just make sure you send it back at some point. M'kay?

Very nice, I was looking at it on the Nation a few days back. I wouldn't mind picking up a DMLCD when I get the cash flow.

I've shot every matrix model made, and I think the DM4 was probably the smoothest out of all of them.

Also, DeTrev, the DMLCD is so cheap these days you could easily afford one from almost chump change.

Agreed, I got a Dye Matrix LCD off ebay for $140.  Between the Matrix and my Blazer my A5 feels like a real gun!  LOL

i think the fact that on top of the matrix platform, and the spool valve design, the gun has enough bulkiness to it to suck up all of the inertia/energy from the bolt that's moving so the gun doesn't move at all.

you hear it shoot, you see it shoot, but you can barely feel it shoot.

It probably didn't help that I had some of the best upgrades... evolve gold bolt kit... tadao board... and stuff like that.

Not only was it the best shooting gun, that thing always shot.  No little quirks or problems.

Only issue I ever had was when I forgot to change batteries before playing one day. 3/4 of the way through the day, the led light on the anderson board came on, but there was nothing coming out. Quickly unscrewed the backplate and viola! Instant on the field change, no tools necessary. I think the only way to screw a DMLCD up is operator error, and even that is tough to do!

DeTrevni, they're kinda like the Tippmann pro-lite with an e-bolt in it. Heavy, loud, awkward to handle, and not too pretty to look at, but they fire beautifully and you can't **** them up.
