Ok, my parents wanted me to make a list for Christmas. I always feel ungrateful if I ask for a lot and have a hard time making a list especially when it has expensive stuff (I'm asking for an Xbox360 this year).

I need to put another game or so on the list. What should I ask for ? This is the list so far.

1. Xbox 360 premium console( has a 20 GB Hard Drive)

2. Call Of Duty 4- for Xbox 360

3. Radio for truck.

4. Speakers for truck ( I think the truck has 4 speakers total)

5. Zippo Fuel

6. Zippo Flints.

7. Cannon fuse ?

8. .........Gun powder ?.........

------------------------------------------------------------ ------

So what's another game to ask for ? I considered halo 3 but I mean, will it just be another shooter like CoD4 ?

I'm about to do a google search of skate, so lets hear the recommendations.

Well I'm not gonna get everything on the list. My dad wants a list so he can pick and choose (and if the store is out of one he can get another) Christmas really snuck up on us this year, they haven't gotten any shopping done yet at all.

Wow nice parents, I get a speach about my tuition bill round christmas time. Course My sister wants to go to yale and spending money on her is something my mother never shys from.

personally I would stick to just the xbox and a game or two, and let them decide on all the little stuff for stockings and what not. I only asked for a big rolling gear bag, I normally try to take care of myself around xmas as far as a toy goes.

Is there any kind of substitute for zippo fuel? I want to use mine tonight and I'm out of fuel. Don't say gasoline.

I'm just getting money for x-mas, and probably some clothes.

I'll be lucky if my budget is $300

If your sister can get into Yale, money should not be a problem. Places like that and Harvard aren't necessarily for smarter people, just a higher social class. Note: I'm talking about undergraduate admissions.

My parents have told me I can have a pretty big christmas this year, because I didn't really get ANYTHING for my birthday, and am saving them a lot of money through the school I chose to go to. I'm trying to decide between a PS3 or a 360.

my grandfather and aunt both went to yale and our family is defiantly not what you call of a higher social class, dont fall for stereo types. Ya a fancy private school and rich parents helps, but plenty of people are there who are just really smart. Don't talk about things you have no background in.

Oh man, that snappy attitude sure showed me.

A social class does not only apply to monetary wealth.  The most highly esteemed prep-schools in the nation are a tight fraternity.  You don't get in, usually, on merit alone. I know plenty of people who scored perfects on their SATs, had the maximum GPA they could have had through AP and honors classes, were eagle scouts and the like, but it didn't matter.  You have to be connected to get into them.

Quit trying to take offense to everything people say to you, as I obviously meant none.

So my grandfather the son of a china shop owner who went to a public highschool was highly connected? I didnt take offense to what you said, I just werely think its wrong to say that only people of a "higher social class" get into schools like that. And saying that social class isnt at all connected to monetary wealth is bs. Please, I've grown up in working among wealthy yacht owners and sailing againts their kids, and fancy prep schools are divided along a single line, White rich kids vs the kids who are either, not from money, or who have money but arent white. Two kids from my college went to Tabor Academy, you know that somewhat elite school on the east coast, have their own Tall Ship, and got in on merit, and whose families are in debt their highschool education.

You're grandfather was two generations ago.  Academy's are NOT the same as the big prep-schools.

The acceptance rate into them is based greatly on who you are, and who you know.

Actually, USAF, you really couldn't be more wrong... Not only did
my dad go to Yale, he's on the faculty and has been on admissions
committees. These days it can almost be a disadvantage to be a legacy or
reasonably well connected at Yale. Yale is making an active effort to distance
itself from that image. Additionally, when you consider how many brilliant
people are applying to schools like Harvard or Yale, you're absolutely nuts if
you think they're going to choose some lazy trust fund baby over a brilliant
kid from a lower-class family who has had to work a hell of a lot harder to
get where they are.

And just for the record, Eagle-Scout-Valedictorian-Perfect-SAT-Scoring
students are a dime a dozen.
