So tomorrow, I am going to a brunch buffet at a 4 star restaurant. I generally like to eat as much at these things as possible. I am normally pretty good at it but the fact that it's in the morning gives me no time to prepare.

So what do you guys do to prepare for all you can eat buffets?

For example, should I wake up early so my body time has more time to digest and burn off food or should I wake up later to get more sleep? Should I not eat at all or just a little to make sure my stomach doesn't shrink?

Get up and go for a long run before without eating anything. You will be plenty hungry after that.

If you had enough time, I would say eat as much as possible as fast as possible. This will help you fill up your stomach before you feel full. Your stomach would be stretched nicely. Then you just take a nice dump and then your good to go.

I've definately been considering that.

Probably not enough time.

I want to enjoy my food as much as possible while still eating a lot.

Check out the menu, this is not the average all you can eat place:

Your stomach will shrink and reduce your eating capabilities.
