Join the HUNDREDS of paintball players as they attend BlackCat Paintball Productions’ and Skyline Paintball’s, “Survival of the Fittest.” 

“Survival of the Fittest” is a 24-hour role-playing scenario where the last of humanity fights to survive against skynet and its machine race of terminators and cyborgs.

The Story:

General Yamato sits at his small metal desk beneath the glow of a generator driven light bulb.  ‘Only minutes left on the batteries,’ he thinks as he puts pen to paper.

“Years ago, before any of us were even born, the skies darkened and the machines took over.  Since then each day has been an ongoing struggle to survive.  Only the strong make it very long these days.  Inside the bunkers there is sickness and decay as the ancient air-purifiers try to filter out the decay so that we can survive.  Outside the bunkers terminators and HK’s, hunter-killers, prowl the earth and sky in an effort to destroy humanity once and for all.

A few weeks ago a small team of foragers managed to bring back a map of an unexplored area of wasteland.  There is supposed to be a bunker somewhere within- a hidden laboratory- wherein there lies a weapon of incredible strength.  This weapon, so archaic that the machines have discounted its worth, can be made to work again… with the proper expertise.

It now falls to us, the survivors, to find a way to locate and activate this weapon.  Perhaps this will be the final battle in this horrible infinite war.  But if it proves to be so, it will undoubtedly be a great battle as our intelligence tells us that there is a new breed of terminator out there.  Apparently some of the remaining humans have been captured or capitulated willingly and have been pressed into a kind of cyborg service.  These walking corpses are controlled at their core by Skynet, but look and behave like humans otherwise.  These infiltrators are reported to be on the alert for any activity in the wasteland, killing on sight anything that moves.  This is the mission before us.  May God protect us all.”

The General lays his pen down and watched the last dying glow of the bulb’s filament as it fell silent and dark into the abyss of night.

“General,” a voice interrupted from behind.

“Yes,” he answered in the darkness.

“Your team is assembled.  We are ready to pull out.”

Yamato sighed heavily.  The weight of the survival of a species is a great burden to bear- perhaps too much for one man.  “Let’s go,” he replied.
