an anti-siphon tube is a tube that is installed into a CO2 tank, connected to the valve, that is bent upwards (up is determined by screwing the tank all the way into the ASA to be used), so that liquid CO2 is not drawn into the marker, only the lighter gas is.

Do not, under any circumstance, attempt to install your own unless you happen to be a qualified airsmith. If you want one, take the bottle to a proshop and have a proper technician do it for you.
