I just got a new stock for my a5 and its kind of hard to put on/take off. Not only is it hard to put it in, but the pins are extremely hard to push in.
I VERY gently hammered down the stock while pressing the front of the a5 against cloths on the floor and to fit it in. Now I am having a lot of trouble pushing in the springs with pins through the holes because the stock's hole seems a little off. Is it safe for me to hammer down the pins once again making sure the a5 is pressing against a soft surface the reduce the impact as I hammer it. Are there any internals in the gun that are fragile enough to get off place while doing that? Edited by chris4355 - 29 January 2008 at 11:56pm |

I had the same problem. What you do is loosen the screws on the back near the stock. Push the stock in as far as you can and while putting pressure (usually by holding it against your body) and screw in the screws. this should help to get the pins in easier. If not I used to use the hammering method and it never hurt my marker so you should be fine.
