hey all,
I'm getting back into woodsballing, and brought out the beast (a5) to mess around with and get back into it. However, when I threw some ain't in and screwed in my compressed air, the RT wouldnt work. It'd only go single shots. So...what's the deal? |

Switching to air can cause some problems with the RT. Specifically, most tanks put out less pressure than a full CO2 tank, which means that there is less air to push the RT. A couple of fixes: First, try to get a tank with as high output pressure as possible. Crossfire, for instance, only puts out 750psi, while PMI puts out 800 or more. Then you have to retweak the RT screw to find the new sweet spot. If you are still having problems, take out the trigger spring, and do the "straw mod". If you are still having problems, do the "super RT" mod. Good luck. |

But it is well worth it. Once I got the RT working again, HPA was the best thing I did for my gun. With CO2 I couldn't do more than 5-6 round bursts before freezing. With HPA I can empty the hopper. While laughing maniacally. |
