My flatline has been through hell and back and has worked fine, with one exception. The the adapter thing to screw it into the gun has worn out, so i have to wrap this sealer-tape(its often used on gas and water lines to prevent leaks, I don't know what its called) to keep the barrel from wobbling and falling out. Is there any way to fix this more permanently? Can i buy a new adapter piece without having to buy a whole new flatline?

Its called teflon tape. Not the best thing.
Electrical tape would work well. Try asking Tippmann for a free adapter. |

Actually, the adapter has probably not worn out. It is made of much heavier duty material than the body of the A5. I would not be at all surprised if the actual wear was to the A5 shell halves. See if you can test this with either the stock barrel adapter or another Flatline adapter so you can avoid wasting time on parts you don't need.
One way to avoid this is to never remove the adapter without loosening the body halves enough to minimize friction as much as possible. The Guy is spot on about the electrical tape. (I prefer duct tape, but that is merely personal preference.) |

i have no trouble with the regular adapter, but ill try the electrical tape and duct tape and see which works best. and in the event that the problem isn't with the flatline, can i get new body pieces or should i just buy a new gun?
