if i fill my hpa tank then shoot it like 3 times then go to unscrew it will it lose a bunch of  air?

if you "shoot down" as they say while unscrewing it you will probably loose the equivalent of about 5 shots. it will take practice to get good at it and you loose less as you get better. if you get an on/off asa you loose less than a shot.

No matter how you take the tank off, you are going to lose shots. An on/off will let you lose only what is already in the gun, which is about 3 or 4 shots on a 98c.

I wouldnt say its a bunch of air though. Just sounds like it is when it comes out.
