im not getting my hopes up, so far the best pistols are the rap4 ones, now if they base it off of thos, that be sweet.

I'm fine with it being a Tac-8 clone, so long it is cheaper (which I believe would be TIppmanns goal in the first place). WIth any luck they'd also make it a 10 round pistol if they use the same clip mechanism. I like the Tac-8, but there is now way in hell I'd pay almost $250 for a pistol. I can see Tippmann putting out an almost identical gun for maybe $100, which I would consider buying.

that's all of the info.  tippmann will be releasing a new mislim barrel with bore sizers.  very expensive for 3 bore sizes.  approx 150

This gun is not a rebadged Tib 8. It works on new technology. I seriously doubt that they can package the new pistol for $100. Paint ball isn't a cheap hobby. And gearing up to run with the Big Dogs will set you back a few bucks.

As shown with the ABT paintball equipment can be made cheap. But its entry level stuff. This pistol isn't going to be entry level equipment.
