I've had my 68 carbine now for about 10 years and it's never done me wrong, it's absolutely tough as nails. I only play about once or twice a year, and until last year it was fine. The valve body o-rings turned to spaghetti, which seems normal to me seeing as how they were 8 years old. The only problem is that i keep replacing them, and the gun will work fine for 400 or so shots, and then they just blow out all over again. They are high quality o-rings that i am putting in. This problem is really getting to me because i keep having to do field repairs or even worse take a rental gun to finish up my game Has anyone else seen this reoccurring problem with the 68 carbine? Would adding an expansion chamber help? I know that gun inside out but this problem is really stumping me. |

The body O-ring as the one thats around the outside rear of the valve?
I would make sure that when you put the valve back into the reciever, the end cap threads arent damaging the o-ring. Thats the only thing I can think of really. |
