um...ok, how long did you have the 98 for? well if you want to mod the gun with the factory bolt on parts, then get the x7 but if your going to make it look like a m4 anyways (most do) then get the alpha black.

Maybe you could adapt the OpsGear A5 AK-47 shroud to a 98. Check out how kurieitaa did his A5. It's pretty inspiring. There are other alternatives though, keep that in mind. Good luck.

I've always thought the 98 body shape was better suited for AK mil-simming than M16/M4 mil-simming. |

I had a 98 AK for a while. It was heavy and a pain to clean if it got hit in the little bits, but it was a 98 and nearly impossible to break. I had the Tacamo barrel, rail, stock, and grip set. Very pretty, and very solid. You could've beaten someone to death with that marker.

They look considerably better than the AR-15 mag I modified to fit into the foregrip. 98s aside, if all you want is a marker you can change regularly to look like whatever assault rifle you feel like carrying that day, then get an X-7. Their mods change out without tools in a matter of minutes even taking your time. Go to the build your own X-7 site and play around a while. It's fun. ![]() Edited by KSTIPPHEAD - 24 August 2008 at 5:10pm |
