Yes I did a quick and crappy job with a crappy rail. I plan on sanding down and properly mounting an aluminum rail when I get the time and money.

They are fake. Note the collar, it comes to a point. Real cammies have a rounded edge. Also the color is way off, real cammies are much lighter then that, even when they are brand new.

I like ABs. but the milling/installation of the top rail is a real turn-off on this one.  The NC Star sight is unimpressive as well.*

*Haven't had a good experience with an NC Star yet.  If you can devise a way to protect the adjustment knobs on it you should do so.  I had the top one shot off by a hit during a game.  I taped the hole shut and drilled a smaller hole closer to the front of the sight which I ran a screw through for making adjustments so it still works.  (Yeah, it's pretty ghetto, but since the sight is going on a cheap pump, I don't care.)

Those MARPATs are fake from TruSpec. I have a set of real ones for PT.

It's just a cheap $20 sight for looks for now. It is truly a piece of **edited** however I plan on buying this one...

It's got 4 reticles in Red and Green.

I agree I did a poor job for my first time around but it will be better once I get better rails.

I never liked the look of the carrying handle on the Alpha Black it seemed long and unproportionate to the rest of the gun. Also if I had put a rail on the handle and then a sight on that I would not have been able to see past my $2 200 round gravity fed hopper :-P

As for the dirty gear, I clean it before I go for a new game.

looks ok for a quick fix, but yea when you get the proper rails it will look good.

We wear boots and units for the CFT, other than that we don't wear cammies when we pt. Its obvious this guy isn't even in ROTC, he is just some kid who wants to be a Marine. There is nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't make you special or cool.

I never once said or even infered it made me special or cool. I wear the cammies to PT every once in a while when we have PT with the poolees at the recruiting office. And no I'm not even enlisted yet, my mother won't sign so I have to wait till I'm 18 on February 2nd. My recruiter considers me in his Delayed Delayed-Entry-Program.

You're right it does look like **edited** right now. I did a quick job with a hacksaw blade and a drill. I believe I mentioned that...
