I've searched all over the forums and google but cant find an answer to this.

How do switch between semi, 3 round burst, and full auto mode on the ABT? I dont see a selector switch on the side of the gun like there is on a true M-4.

Also I've noticed the x-7 e-grip kit and the a-5 e-grip kit replaced the entire grip with one with a mode selector on the side. Will a similar one be released for the ABT? If so I will probably get the basic ABT and wait for an E-grip with a selector mode. Why pay the additional $ for an e-grip without a proper selector switch on the side to only pay extra $ for an e-grip with selector later in my opinion.

Iam pretty sure you just press in the button used to turn it on once and dont hold it.  not positive though.  My a5 has the pre selector egrip on it and its kind  of a long explanation.

On the front of the grip, there are two holes
with lights, they are also buttons. You use an
Allen key to push the buttons and select the
mode.

My dad has an ABT-E. He thought there was a
selector switch too, the whole buttons in the
grip threw him off.

So does anyone know if there is any chance they will come out with an e-grip with a selector like the x7 and a5?

^^^Given that the grip is an integral part of the frame, like the 98 (which doesn't have a "real firearm style" external selector available for the e-grip) I think an X7/A5 type e-grip for the AB is unlikely.

Ok so I have another question.

If I do end up getting AB with an E-grip. I think it would be cheaper to buy an AB basic with e grip from sports authority for $120 and then add the tactical mod kit for $49.00.

This seems to be a cheaper option than buying either the ABT basic for $120 and then adding the E-grip upgrade later, or buying an ABT E-grip for $185.

Does anyone see a potential flaw in my thinking before I place the order?

here is the same thing for 169 which is what you would be paying anyways. This also gets free shipping. http://www.paintball-discounters.com/get_item_t106005.htm The plus is it is pre assembles as well.
