    Posted: 04 December 2008 at 10:40pm
i purchased a 98 c pro platinum and a tippmann brand dogleg air thru for it.  The stock is for the 98 but the fitting on the air hose doesn't seem long enough to reach the internal valve for a tight fit.   Am i doin somethin wrong or is it the wrong size hose?  Any help is appreciated, Thanks

The 98 platinum uses an X7 style air hose.

The 98 hose is different, just standard 1/8" pipe.

No. The platinum uses a different air line than anything. The hose threads with a reverse-thread into a large nut and forces itself into a seal with the valve.

Standard markers (including the X7) use a 1/8 NPT threaded fitting into the valve.

If you want to answer questions, please know what youre talking about.
