i prefer the 12". its a good length that stabilizes well and doesn't get in the way as much. once you get over that length i feel like it gets in the way.

Any straight barrel will work as well as any other with the E-Trigger. And I like 12"-14" barrels in general. 12" is a nice length, but 14" can be helpful at times to poke through brush and wrap around bunkers. That said, 12" is a little more manuverable. Either way, you really can't go wrong and their won't be much of a difference. You get to 16" though and you start to waste more air to overcome the added friction caused by extra length with no real benifiets. |

12-14" is your best bet. No real advantage or disadvantage to either. I've used both and can't say that I prefer one over the other. Yomillio hit the only real differences.

The J&J is alot more accurate than the Apex. Personally I LOVE the distance of the Apex/flatline though, of course along with the accuracy of the J&J. I myself have a 14" J&J with an Apex tip. You ever consider giving that a try? It gives the apex effect alot more accuracy, and plus if your not feelin' the apex effect, you can always just turn it off.
