Which is best barrel J&J performance or freak kit or custom products 1or 2 piece for 98 custom platty?

They are all good. Freak would probably be the most accurate due to ability to match paint to bore. J&J is probably the best overall value.

I have a platty as well and i have tried the Apex, J&J and the lapco big shot, i went with the J&J ... its the best bang for your buck!

This is the wrong section for a gun upgrade question....it belongs in repairs and upgrades. However, the best barrel for the gun depends on how much you have to spend. You could get a good signle piece barrel, or go out an buy a barrel kit which can cost 5 to 10 times more than the single piece barrel.

I always suggest CP, ive been using them for 5 years now and I absolutely love them.
for $90 you can have one front, and 2 backs which is all you'll really need for an open bolt gun (.689, .693) you'll be very pleased with the quality, performance, weight (light), and color selection of the CP over the other barrels. but, you can always spend just $30 for a CP Classic 1pc with a .689 bore (just $5 more than a JJ Ceramic) and thats all you'll ever need to buy for the rest of your life. |
