98 custom e trigger problems

   so i was trying to install it on my project salvo gun. well the armeture pin was to short and then when i was looking at the other parts one of the cables connecting the solinoid to the computer board was not cnnected!! im thinking about returnng it to the store or should i just contact tippmann?
