I found a cool chemical while doing chemistry homework that looks interesting. hydrazine N2H4. Apparently you can use it as a rocket fuel.

Hydrazine is a favorite of the chem department here.  They use it in the exams for General Chemistry series.  They're has always been 1 problem involving hydrazine on atleast one exam for the 3 course series, and this trend has persisted for the last 4 years (with no repeat questions either).  Who ever is writting these exams must make rocket fuel as a hobby or something.

Yeah, it says on wiki that you can make it out of ammonia and bleach (with ammonia > bleach). But it also says that if you mix it wrong it becomes extremely exothermic, besides the fact that it makes poisonous gas.

I used Hydrazine a few times in Organic Chem. I kinda miss that stuff. O-chem, not Hydrazine.
