Can you put an A5 Flatline, without the shroud, on

   I've owned a few A-5's but never got my hands on an X-7.
I was under the impression they had the same "lug" style barrel "threads" but the gun end of the X-7 barrels was about a tenth of on inch shorter?
Has anyone just used an A-5 Flatline on an X-7? If it doesn't fit, have you tried it with out the shroud?

	The A5 flatline will not work on the X7. It looks like it would work but it doesn't.
