I have a tippmann 98 custom act. I was wanting to know if there was a good paintball marker i could purchase for 350 with shipping an if so what is it an where is it. Or should i just get upgrades for my 98 act, if i should do that what upgrades would you recomend for less then 350 total. Im possitive i cant use the egrip cause my the gun is one solid peice. Help an thanks for any future replies.

If your 98 is ACT, you can use the egrip. Didn't you decide on a Mini?
Save for a Phenom maybe. Your limited to CO2 in your area if I remember right.

Wow, yeah if youre limited to CO2, it cuts down the choices.
I may be stuck in that situation soon. Ive been looking at things like an Electra 09. Theyre cheap, so if CO2 decides to mess it up, I wont really worry about it.
Ive also been thinking about rigging up a cocker with a Palmers or something.

i didnt think it was able to use an egrip because the handle on my act doesnt come off though it is a solid peice an the gun splits down the center.

It's not like the A-5 egrip, the 98 one goes inside the 2 halves in the grip section.

lol ok thanks any who lol what all parts would you recomend i have 350 to spend lol on upgrades. Im going to stick with the 98 cause i only need one marker plus we only play woods ball.

Sounds like you havent played with your marker yet, hence the questions of not knowing yourself what Upgrades is need for your marker.
That said, go play some games and then you'll know what you need with your $350. |

At first, all you will need is a nice barrel. Go to pbreview.com as they have reviews on everything. Dont go buying anything bigger than a 14'' barrel. Most people will suggest a Lapco.
Secondly, if you feel the need to hose people with paint, invest in an RT or Egrip, with a new feeder such as a Halo or Cyclone.
And thats it!
