Okay in October i went and played with my 98 and it was working fine all day. Then one of my friends stopped playing because he was leaving so he let me borrow his remote. I hooked it up and everything was fine, but when i fired the first shot, hell broke loose. My gun started leaking air like crazy through the internals of the gun and i have no idea how or why. Well one of my buddies is really familiar with Tippmanns so he offered to take it home and try and fix it. He said the he replaced everything he possibly could internally, and it still does the same thing. As soon as you hook up air, it seems like it goes right through the air line directly into the chamber and comes out through the end of the barrel. I have no idea what is wrong. If anyone can help that would be wonderful. If i am not able to fix it i would like to send it in to Tippmann to see if they can, but i'm pretty sure the warrenty is up. It was given to me for christmas in 2008, so if it is for sure up, and i have to send it in, where do i send it to and how do i pay? Thanks in advance for any help.

The O-ring inside the valve has gone bad. The valve has a little brass plug in the front of it. That little brass plug has an O-ring on it. I'll try to find the how to that shows you how to fix it. This thread shows how to take the valve apart. If you don't think you can handle it just buy a new valve.Edited by DVLCHLD - 20 February 2010 at 2:28am |

I've never seen anyone own the woods because of what marker they use.

Thanks man. I'll work on that. Its worth a try. If i can't get it i'll have my friend try, otherwise i'll just buy a new valve. Thanks for the help.
