I fail at transmissions, and mine has decided to start acting up.

So recently, my 1996 Camaro has been acting a little odd. By odd, I mean, when I put it into park about a week ago, the car acted as if it were in neutral and would just roll about if I was on a hill. More recently however, (ie, this week) instead of acting like it is in neutral, when I put the car in park, the transmission is in reverse. It still lets me turn the car off and take the keys out as if it were in park tho, at which point it just goes right back to acting like it's in neutral. When I start it up, it does the whole neutral bit for just a second, then kicks into reverse. It drives perfectly fine though. It accelerates fairly normally, it shifts fine, (not quite as smooth as it used to, but as much as I have driven that car, it's to be expected) theres no horrific sounds causing any red flags. My best guess is the transmission is just out of adjustment, but I'm an engine guy, I don't know much at all about transmissions, so I come to you.

Halp? Advice on what it is, how much this is going to cost me, or what to have done is much, much appreciated.

possibly this.

Also as someone else said, perhaps the gear selector needs to be adjusted.
