Hey guys, I bought my A5 back in 2006 and I guess its an older style model? I didnt get to use it much I was deployed twice in the Army after buying it. The response trigger isnt working, ive tightened it, loosened it. Ive stripped the WHOLE gun, cleaned it, functions check and made sure air was travelling through both tubes (when I say tubes I mean the one to the cyclone, and the one to the response trigger) correctly before i "installed" my nitrous tank to test it out. I cant figure out whats going on and after feeling safe taking it apart and putting it back together i dont want to pay someone to fix this. Please throw me your ideas.
P.S. I say older style because those "tubes" meet at one point, not two like i see in all the youtube videos.

The response trigger wont function as you desire adjusted either all the way in or all the way out. You have to tune it. There's a sweet spot somewhere in the middle where you'll start to get the 'full-auto' effect that you want.

When you say, not working do you mean it won't fire at all or just not giving the RT effect? Edited by oldpbnoob - 12 March 2010 at 2:27pm |

take off your grip, and put a couple drops of oil into the R/T piston. I used to have the same problem with mine. I got it when the RT first came out.
