I just bought Bad Company 2 through the EA online store because the promo code PAXEAST842 gives you $20 off until...april 8th I think. Theres also a sale until midnight (52 minutes here) that made it $40, so it was only $20. Woooo.

Just don't go to the EA forums. They are full of stupid.
That said, whore the M60 as much as you can, they are nerfing it soon. Slugs in shotguns are the new sniper weapons. Why is the damn SPAS 12 a pump action! Oh and the knife is broken. (it works intermittantly 9 tags one round, swishing at air in others) What platform? |

What do you mean you'll install shortly? Is there a way to buy it and download it on live? Or do you just mean install it from the disk?

I would normally get it for 360, but I do enjoy FPS on pc. I also didn't think I'd be meeting up with my friend at EA for a $20 copy, so getting it last night for cheap was nice. I also figured this way I have MW2 on my 360 which I play a lot, and have bad company 2 as backup on the laptop for when I want something different, play somewhere else, or the tv is in use. Theres a tiny bit of choppyness on occasion during really graphic intense parts, but nothing really bad/ that affects gameplay. I saw it the most when a barrier in front of me was blown up, and it really slowed down, but I've had complete walls taken out in front of me without the lag happening so whatever.
Played the campaign for a while, then switched to multi online. Certainly like the full version better than the feel in the demo. |
