I just got this new today, and taking the cyclone feeder off so I could take the gun apart, the nut inside the bottom part of the cyclone feeder, the one that holds the bolt that holds the gun together, is stripping the inside of the feeder.  I can't loosen or tighten the bolt because the nut will just turn freely.  The nut itself is not stripped, it is still shaped properly, but the place it is housed inside the feeder is worn out enough that the nut has nothing to catch and so it just spins with the bolt.  How can that happen when it is this new?  I'm going to have to improvise by jamming some metal shims in there so the bolt won't spin.  This is a real bummer.

Ok I took the nut from the front handle/grip and used it in the cyclone feeder, because it is a totally square nut, unlike the other one, and so it does not rotate.  I have to hold it in there while I screw it in, but at least it works.  I found another nut that I can use for the front grip now, and that works too.  It's disappointing.  I'll have to hope it doesn't strip further with the square nut.  I'll try to glue that one in there so I don't have to keep holding it in everytime.

Even though you found a way to fix it, I would still give tippmann a call and they can direct you from there. They have a 24 hr turn around so it wont be gone that long if you have to send it in.
