Hi, I`m Gabriel from Brazil, so, sorry for the bad english.
Here is the deal. I`ve got this Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Series With E-Grip. The marker looks like prety new but the E-Grip is just not working well. The problem is that it looks like that the E-Grip is not strong enouth to fire when the marker is armed. It`s just like the battery is old and the solenoid has just not enough power. But I alredy tryed with several different batteries that I know are perfectly good, always the same problem. If I pull the bolt a little bit, releasing the it`s pressure over the grip it works fine... Has any one found this kind of problem... I`m very greafull for any kind of help...

It really sounds as if the batteries are weak. Are you trying the batteries from the same package or from different ones? Try buying batteries from somewhere that you know they are very fresh and the inventory is turned often.

The Batteries are fine. I tested with a Multimeter and it is fully charged. Also, it works fine with my other electronic marker a Spyder Electra.
