So, my dad called me this weekend and told me to come over. When I got outside he was sitting in my apt parking lot in an identical version of this:




GM loaned it to him for the weekend. It's a 2010 Corvette Grand Sport, priced at $68k+tax. Only stipulations on driving it were that you have a valid drivers license and the GM employee remains in the vehicle.

I wasn't too great with a stick before, but I think a day of cruising around in this baby fixed that. Crazy fast, great handling, turning heads everywhere. /me wants.

Well I am not a huge fan of Vettes, but I would still be really excited if someone handed me one to drive. Other than that I wouldn't buy that car if I had the money it costs, there are other vehicles I would much rather own.

I don't even know how much vettes cost, I haven't looked at them in forever. I would personally rather get a wrx sti and throw the rest into modifications.

I think Corvettes are just timeless classics. Especially the last two generations.

If I remember what I read correctly, the Grand Sport is a fantastic buy. I cruised by a ZR1 a few weeks ago, but I think driving a Grand Sport still beats seeing a ZR1.
