   So I bought the cyclone feed system, response trigger, and the adapter to connect both of them for my 98 custom. However, my power tube is the one that doesn't have the hole to screw it in. So I called Tippmann, and they're sending me the new power tube. But I have a game this weekend, and I don't think the power tube will come in by then. I've heard that you can drill the old power tubes out for the fittings, but how would I go about doing that, and how safe is it?

	If you are getting the new power tube I would recommend not messing with the marker until you get it. While you can drill a hole in the existing power tube, you will not have the threaded protrusion that the response/cyclone power tubes have for the fitting to screw into. As the power tube is to thin to be tapped for threads you will have to come up with an alternative. Most of the viable alternatives involve altering the marker body shell opening and doing so could interfere with the new power tube when you get it.

	But that's the thing, it has the protrusion and I've heard about people drilling it. Its just a solid chunk of plastic sticking out the hole, but unlike the new power tube there isn't a hole drilled into it.

	You would have to drill it, then tap it. While the tapping part probably wouldn't be too difficult, the ability to keep the drill straight for the drilling part probably would be. It just seems like a wasted effort if you're getting the new power tube anyways.
