Charlie Rangel is found guilty of several ethics violations, and readily admits the 17 year 'tax evasion' issue. Yet his buddies in Congress just decide to spank his hand and ego. Why isnt the IRS standing there with cuffs like they would do to anyone here who admitted not paying some taxes for 17years. Now lets look at how this would have been differant if it was a Republican who did not pay for 17 years.

And then try to convince the general public that there is not a true bias in the media over the coverage of this. And that certian members of the 'ruling' class do not have a seperate set of rules than the populace.

Good friend of mine is an IRS agent, has been working for them for about 7-8 years now.  Locking people up for tax evasion is not a common occurrence, no matter what their economic standing is.

Setting up strict repayment plans is the main action, I believe.

Mayhap I'm wrong, but I think automatic deductions from your paycheck tends to be an action as well.

If any of us (if we were old 'nuff) did this, we'd be looking at forced sodomy for several years...
