So ok guys i put Teflon type on like five times and it still leaks..so im saying the threads are stripped in the valve
. Is it possible to have a O-ring gone in the valve body? just looking at the options before i order a new valve. Thanks Slater ![]() PS. I have gun grease and oil from TectT should i use the grease on the hammer and bolt, and the oil on the O-rings??

I think you were the one that installed a Rufus dawg powertube? Please reply to the original thread next time.
Anyway, visually inspect the valve to see whats up with the threads. Its possible you crossthreaded it and messed up the valve. Its been ages since I pulled apart a valve, but there are seals which rarely fail inside the valve.

Are you screwing it in all the way? How many threads are showing once you have it screwed in? |
