Hello all, in new to the paintball sport and im having a bit of trouble with my gun and the guns e-grip.

I have a Tippmann Project Salvo with the add-on E-Gripp E-Trigger. I installed it just like the instructions said (and YouTube ;-)LOL) and it works fine with all settings. However, when on the full auto setting it will fire about 2 or 3 seconds then stops like it is out of CO2 or somthing. It not empty, the 20 ounce tank is still full. Ive tried everthing it still does it. Im using the cyclone ball feeder too. Heres the catch though... It only does it when the hopper has balls in it!!! If I do it with out the balls in it it will fire continously with no problem!

Also, does anyone know why my gun shots 2 or 3 balls ata time on semi auto firing mode?  I cant get one single shot, it always shoots 2 or 3 balls.  lol

Please help. Thanks.

A couple of things to check:

1. Make sure you did not overtightern the screws that hold the two halves of the marker together. Yes, you can overtighten these and cause the bolt to bind.
2. Did you take the metal peice off of the back of the trigger?
3. Sometimes the asa can be faulty and press the pin on the tank too far in and cause valve blockage and the marker to starve. Try tightening up the tank until you feel it air up and maybe 1/4 turn more and leave it. See if that helps.
4. Make sure you have a FRESH battery, not one you dug out of the junk drawer or one bought at the 7-11.

Is the marker recocking and just not shooting or is it not recocking?

Did you do any other mods such as aftermarket  bolts powertubes?

I got it fixed.  Thanks for the help.  What it was was the Ball Latch was keeping more than one ball in the chamber causing it to jam and stuff.  I got a new latch and it works like a charm.

But now my second salvo has had no modifications to it and it was a lag inthe trigger.  Im thnking maybe a new oil job.  im still trying to work on it.  I pul the triger and like 2 seconds later it fires.  LOL

Thanks for the help oldpbnoob, your help actually made sense to me and is much appreciated.  Thanks
