I need help to decide something..
I'm going to buy a paintball gun soon it will be my first marker and am kind of new to the game I have played it before a few times actually and I've narrowed my search down to 2 guns. I'm debating on the Tippmann X7 Phenom Mechanical and the Tippman a5. I really don't know which one to get?!?!?!? So I want to know the stats the best use of each gun i wan to know personal thoughts on the guns and how the work EVERYTHING!!! I need to make up my mind. Please help me... Thanks

I am guessing you have not played much. Consider the A5 or the 98C. Both are very easy to use and maintain. The 98C is considered to be the AK-47 of the paintball marker. The X7 mech. is similar to the A5 in it's feed system and easily Milsim'd.

Read this it will answer alot of your questions:
Accuracy depends on the barrel and ball:bore match Range will be the same will any gun the only way to get added range is with either a flatline or apex barrel.

I would recommend an a5. I own a 98 and i love its durability and performance, but there are alot of standard features on the a5 that make it a smarter buy. Unlike the 98, the a5 has a closed action, which keeps dirt and debris out. It is field strippable, and it comes with a feeder capable of 15bps without needing batteries. for a 98 you would need a battery powered hopper or a cyclone upgrade which costs $70 alone.
As for mods, each of those 3 guns has a myriad of accessories available.
From what I gather, an x7 really isn't worth it unless you're into milsim. I'm guessing you're a beginner so I would highly recommend the a5.
