Its definitely fake, but I figured I would poke fun at the Glock vs. 1911 and Mens calibers(.45ACP, .30-06, 7.62x39/51/54R,etc)  vs. poodle-shooters(9mm, 5.56) debates.

That's a fake, I've seen the base pic before.

It is well done though. Someone took their time.

But now you gotta ask yourself which is more manly? The girly wristed all steel construction that absorbs recoil and contains explosions, or the brass balls plastic that'll let the uncontained explosion rip through your hand?

I like how Glock junkies around the world scoff at 1911's for an "antiquated design" and a "prehistoric caliber" when Glock essentially ripped off Brownings Hi-Power design, and the 9mm round is older than 1911's and designed by the grandfather of Glock's design, John Browning.

Not that I call Glocks outdated, but they really aren't any different from most early semiautomatics sans polymer and trigger designs.

John Browning did not design the 9X19mm cartridge. You can credit him with the .380 ACP (9mm Kuirtz/ 9mm Browning) but the 9X19mm is all Luger, hence the name.

The 9x19mm was made by Luger by opening the necked down cartridge that was a 7.6 something bottleneck round.

It was made 3 years before the .45ACP, so the claims of the out dated .45 is incorrect.

The only thing that looks polymer on that 1911 is the grips.  Anyone notice the giagantisaurus rex 1911 in the background of that picture?

As the owner of a Hi-Power, I could say that is 80% true. Replace the trigger with a slider and get rid of the magazine disconnect and we'll have a winner. Still my favorite pistol thus far, however.

Sorry, I meant to say that .45 ACP was designed by Browning. Typo on my part.

Buuuut I was right on the Glock bit.

And the CZ 75b is the answer to the Hi-Power problem of "How can I make this much prettier?"

Fanboys of any kind are retarded, Glock fanboys are no exception.

I love my Glock because it suits me to a tee-inexpensive, great trigger pull, and very accurate out of the box. Beyond that, I still love my H&K that I still own and the Xtreme Duty I had before the Glock. Handguns are pure personal preference.

Agreed. Defensive handguns, as long as they're reliable, should first be based on your needs I.E. budget, personal ergonomics, concealment purposes, state laws etc. I know a guy who built a beautiful 1911 as a range gun/ house gun. I got a long-gun for HD, and a carry pistol so he sold it any got a S&W M&P. He shoots it well, it's cheaper and he's not typically doing bullseye-style shooting anymore. Both work but fit different needs.
