Kayaking the Rivanna in Charlottesville, VA. My buddy Jason and I didn't think we'd need our full spray-skirts this time because it was nice and warm. Turns out he got so much water in his boat that he was just barely afloat. I had my partial spray deck on and even then, had to empty about 8 gallons out of my boat. Great day!

Work. Sleep. Study.

More of the first and last than the middle.

Stayed over with my sister in the city. Watched The Hunger Games and Wrath of the Titans. Not much else.

Nice, kayaking is awesome, although I've only ever done ocean/ lake.

Friday I went out for a friends birthday (thus the photobooth picture in the so.... thread) and had a good time. Saturday I stayed in bed until 3:00 or so, then made nachos and enjoyed life. Sunday I did laundry and ran errands, then went to check out my friends new apartment which is awesome. Pretty good overall.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Absolutely nothing Saturday. Wife had a doctor's appointment, so I spent some time with the kid.
Sunday, an old friend I haven't seen in 4 years was in town, so we met up and did some shooting with a few guys I haven't seen in a while as well.

Developed a sincere fondness for his S&W 40, and had a lot of fun with a 10ga shotgun and a .300 Mag rifle, and I got a chance to test fire one of the rifles that I got cleaned up from the flooding. Works like a charm.
Was a great day.

I went to a Rangers legends v's AC Milan Glorie charity match. It was epic.
Basically it was every player from my boyhood dream team, and it was crackin' to see them play again and to see that they've still got it. It was a full house as the club are in a pretty bad way financially so the atmoshpere was great.

Even better was that the current manager Ally McCoist (legend) Scored. It must have made his career to see the support he's getting now that the club is in administration and even facing liquidation

You can't quite make it out but the whole stadium is singing "SUPER ALLLY SUUPPERR ALLLYY OOHHH WAAAYY OOOHH WAAYYY OOHH WAAAY".

Not the most creative chant but it is drenched in support I still can't stop smiling when I watch the video.

Then I went to the pub.

I went out for my 21st birthday on Friday night, drank a surprising amount and had no no effects on Saturday.

So I then went out for wings and Summer Shandy on Saturday while watching the games and was disappointed in the Summer Shandy, everyone who talks about it is obsessed.
