I have gone through and looked and I would like some opinions or suggestions on if this is a good starter loadout. Is there anything I may need or upgrade, do I need the multi tool? Any replies are welcome (other than ur so stupid). I do not have a lot of money so I can't go over ~250 dollars CAD.
Thanks in advance! ![]() For mobile or no picture: Chronus Tactical - Olive (154.99) Multi-Tool (27.95) Tippmann Loader 200 (4.95) 12oz CO2 (28.95) Valor Goggle (27.95) TOTAL: $245 (EDIT: If this isn't the correct spot please don't hate, just tell me where.) ![]() Edited by ._. - 19 August 2015 at 11:36pm |

If you're on a budget there's nothing at all wrong with that loadout to start with.
The neat thing about it is that you're not dumping a lot of cash into something that you'll be committed to for a long time. You can get into it, play a while, and decide where you'd like to go in the sport and grow your gear in that direction. I'm not too familiar with the Chronos myself, but a low end marker to start with is always a good idea. Good luck! |

You could drop the multi-tool. A basic tool kit with allen keys, o-ring pick and needle nose pliers should do you good.

Agreed actually. The marker should have the appropriate allen keys with it anyway. As far as anything else, any hardware store sells those little metal dental picks for like a buck or so. I used to use one of those for an o-ring pick and never left home without a leatherman. |

I don't believe so. Tippmann offers suggestions as purchasing options, one suggestion is the hopper.

I'm going to drop the multi tool and go for hpa, people say CO2 is bad, can you fill hpa table with a) an air compressor or b) a scuba tank?
Looking at the 48/3000. |

There's nothing wrong with CO2 if you have the right setup. HPA is necessary for finicky electro-pneumatic markers that experience sustained, high rates of fire, but for a Cronus, CO2 is just fine and dandy. You cannot fill HPA with a standard air compressor. Scuba tanks will work, but you see a diminishing return each time you fill your tank. It may hit 3kpsi the first fill, but the second will only be 2500psi, third will only be 2000, etc. That means fewer shots per tank each time you refill.
If you want to prevent the very few issues that can arise in cold weather with CO2, it's easy to just run a remote line or get an anti-siphon kit installed on your CO2 bottle. |

You should look around for a "starter package" for the Cronos Tactical. I know I've seen them out there. They include everything you have listed (except the multi-tool) and are $20 to $30 cheaper than if you buy the items separately.

I have but its difficult because I live in Canada and I love in a smaller province, there's nothing in sites and US companies either charge more than I can count (not really) of they don't ship to Canada/my province.

If you have any friends (that you trust) here in the US, you can always send them money via paypal for a starter package and shipping via post to you. The difficulty is that they can't ship fed ex, UPS, or any other common carrier as there are rules between the US and Canada that basically say if it ships via common carrier up there or down here, it has to get picked up at the customs warehouse either by the person who is receiving it, or they have to contract with a common carrier up there to bring it to them (expensive). However, if you have someone ship it by post and declare it as "sporting goods" on the customs form, it usually makes it through no problem. I sent a couple of Autococker Trilogies up there back when WGP went under and sold everything off for cheap. took about a week, but made it there just fine.
