    Posted: 06 June 2004 at 5:00pm

Hi! I'm new to paintball and I have an old Model 98 with a good barrel and co2. I'm planning on adding a low pressure system in about a week but I noticed in the picture it doesn't have an expansion chamber (or I just didn't see it). Does this mean I have to buy an expansion chamber and if so where can I find one without having to buy the gas wire and all that. Also, will the low pressure system help my co2? If you know how explain. Thanks!

lpk is normally used with nitro but i guess you can use co2 if you want. it doesnt have an expansion chamber but you should buy a regulator ( i suggest palmers stabilizer) for it.

The low pressure kit is usually used with a regulator and compressed air.
Note, you can use the lp kit with c02 and an expansion chamber.
I suggest you to atleast get a compressed air or regulator if you are going to buy the lp kit so that you can get the most out of the kit.

You need a regulator for it not an X-Chamber.
A-5
E-Grip
JCS Dual Trigger
DOP X-CORE 8 stage x-chamber
Lapco Bigshot 14" Beadblasted

Optional setup:
R/T
Dead on Blade trigger

The LPK is really designed for nitro. I don't know if there is any advantage in using it with CO2. It will work, but as stated above you will need a reg built for CO2, and really the only one there is is the palmer stabilizer as stated in the above post.

If you use co2 or HPA, either way, you'll still need a regualtor to drop the pressure down to around 400psi.

Yes, you can use co2 on a LPK, and you will see close to the same results as you would with HPA.
