Topic: A-5 LPK worth it? Posted: 20 June 2004 at 3:39pm |
hey guys, i need some opinions. im playin against guy with timmys, shockers, angels, and everyother gun that costs over 1000 bucks on the market and im smokin em with my a-5. the only problem is, im shooting maybe 300-500 balls a game (egrip is happy) and im runnin out of air (field only fills to an average of 2k) i was wondering if the low pressure system would be worth buying. im not really a fan of the way it looks but if it can make a huge diffrence than i might get it. what are some advataged that those of u with low pressure systems notice about it? if u could let me know that would be great. Thanks

First, congrats on smokin those "fancy gun" toters!
As for your LPK question, I would have to believe that running at a lower pressure would get you more shots per fill. At least according to Tippmann.
Dunno about your second question. Wouldn't you want to use the LP Stab?

ok dude......yes u can get a lpk....but that does not mean that you will get more shots out of your tank (at least not a significant amount).
It means less recoil and better consistancy
While shooting at a lower psi the lpk makes the valve open twice as long....so you really are using the same amount of air.

More shots out of your tank, less recoil(better accuracy) and it quiets your gun alot.
