Looking to upgrade barrell on my A-5. Usually play woods. But I tend to attack pretty hard. So I'm not sure the flatline will help that much. I have the R/T and use it for cover fire while I charge. Any suggestions? Willing to go up to $200 but would like to spend less without giving up performance. Like I said I move ALOT and don't know if the distance a Flatline gives you would help for my style of play.  Thanks for any  comments......

Do you hear voices too?

What's a barrell? Anyway, pick one. Any of them. The length just needs to be longer than 8" for stabilizing, and above 16" is too much. Unless you want a bigger one, but thats up to you. I could just say get what I've got.

I don't know but I wouldn't spend 200 dollars for a barrel, but i bought bead blasted lapco bigshot from county for a little over $50 bucks.  I got the 14" because it's easier to aim.

there really isnt much difference between a 12 and a 14 other than two inches, they are both about the same accuracy. the main difference is with a 14 you can see the barrel sticking out further, so it is a little easier to aim, and if you play behind a bunker, you have two extra inches to stick through the bunker or tree to shoot from. i personally like a 12 cause i like my barrels compact and tight, 14 is too long for me. but all in all its just personal preference. borrow someones marker with a 12 try it, borrow a 14 try it, even just hold it at the field, get a feel for what you are getting. i use a flatline with a bigshot as my backup.

tippemann makes a 12" S barrel (sniper) i have the 14" barrel i polished the inside and find out how it works tommorow. the flatline is too heavy for all the rushing.
                     A-5
flatline
tippmann 14"(s) barrel
R/T & now the E-GRIP (accuracy by volume)
expansion chamber

I like the flatline! I use it and I run around quite a bit. But that's just me I'm extemely jacked. A 14" Boomstick would probably be better for you, assuming that you are not also jacked.

BTW the Sniper barrel that Tippman makes is pretty damn bad.
