hey guys, how it going... right now i have a tippmann 98 custom w/ flatline and a 32* remote... however, i am looking to upgrade to a new, better, more effecient gun... i don't really wanna spend a lot of money because i just play wit the guys in a backyard, so, can you guys give me an idea of what to get ( i was looking at the a-5 because i like tippmann cusumer service, reliablity, and durability) note** any gun you name plz say the price, cons, and pro's for the gun... also add if it is nitrus ready or if i need to upgrade it inorder for nitrus to work at its full potential(the cons are the bad stuff and the pro's are the good stuff) THX SO VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY MUCH

Fairly common misconception, but nitrous does not = nitro or HPA. I point this out so you don't make a fool of yourself on the field or in a shop.

And yes, you can use an HPA(nitro) tank w/out any modifications provided that you get an HPA tank with a preset high output. 800-850 psi

+ dude look ur total comes out to 880 (egrip is 140)!!! just go wit da BKO for $300 (action village) and it will still be cheaper than wat ur lookin to do with the A5

i say go with the A-5 but its efficency is less than greater. here are its pros and cons assuming its all stock.
pros
capable of fast enough speeds.
VERY upgradeable
feels good
easy to field strip
easy to unstall upgrades
durable/reliable
has the graet tippmann customer service
the cyclone is great(no need for a hopper, and granted your not low on paint and c02 it never skips or chops.)
you canupgrade it to fit any style of play(milsim-scenario, flashy speedball, woods etc.)
any cons it has can be fixed with upgrades
you can improve your gun through virtually free trigger mods
adjustable front grip
cons
bad efficency
crapy stock barrel

FlatlinePwnage I am your salvation, well not really but Ill try to help.

All tippmans are great 1st guns and upgrade guns. So instead of forking over cash for an A-5 which is practicly a 98c and wasting money on speedball upgrades. So here's what you should get.

2004 BKO from Indian Creek $300-$330

Revolution 2 Hopper

68ci or 45ci 3000 psi tank

BKO

Pro's: Cheap, Fast, Upgradable, Dependable, Derlin Stock Bolt

Con's: No as accurate as cockers

Overall: This is the cheapest High end gun and with the right upgrades(Chaos chip, good barrel, new reg) this gun can compete with 1000$ dollar markers for half the price.

Talking about BKO's is making me want one sooner than I can afford it.

Coming in May 2005!
