ya know what would be sic??? warp feed on an A-5....i'll try making an adapter like u guys said then it should work fine

You could always duct tape a funnel (turned upside down) to the top of your cyclone and then duct tape a hopper to the top of that.

You'll need a big funnel though.

Not to mention it would look rather trashy.

I don't see the point in putting a warp feed on an A-5.  You'd just be better off saving the money and having that mod done on a 98.  The whole thing about the A-5 is the cyclone feed.

On second thought, if you have an e-grip with that setup with the ROF cranked all the way to the max.   Hmmmmmmmm....

trashy and pointless, the cyclone would still feed the balls in, not the halo or whatever you put on top

That's sort of my point. You already have the cyclone feed...why do you need a hopper adapter to fit a new hopper? Some people do want to be able to stick an electro-hopper on their A-5, it just seems silly.

Plus, the reason why people want a different feed- the cyclone pinches the balls to feed them in (force fed input), but the only problem is that when shooting at high bps the cyclone is spinning faster. When it spins faster, it's slamming the balls agiants a metal spike. At too high of a speed, it slams the balls into oblivion and becomes a blender.

The only problem is that the evil spike is mounted as part of the frame- Tippmann should have used a screw so that it could be changed from metal to something softer, such as a gel-wrapped plastic piece with a spring to "give" a little and return back.

Guess I don't really have that problem too often, because I don't do high rates of fire for extended periods of time. I probably get like 2 or 3 bps when I shoot. Heh. Never was into shooting a lot of paint.

The only time I had a problem with the cyclone acting like a blender, was a ratchet latch in my cyclone needed replacing. My cyclone got so bad, it stopped cycling my paint and would just move back and forth or not turn all the way, trapping the paint between the cyclone and the chamber.
