68 Carbine Help Needed

   Hey all,

I recently acquired a 68 carbine and i would really like to upgrade it. I've got 2 questions for you all:

1. Does the barrel have the same thread pattern as the pro-carbine/A-5?

2. Does anyone konw where i can find the 68 special vertical adapter kit? i've looked all over ebay, and i've tried google, but i'm not having much luck.
