Topic: what stockPosted: 20 July 2004 at 12:26pm |

I was planning on buying a new stock for my 98 custom and dont know which one is best. There is a 32 degrees model 98 FX stock. and the other one is the BT Model 98 Folding Car Stock. Would the folding one be better if you could just fold it up whenever you wanted. or would the 32 degrees stock get in the way sometimes like when crawling, running, and stuff. Here are the links to both. |

I have the A-5 version of this one- it feels and looks so much better than both of those.
http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item= 2595 I wouldn't mess with a folding stock- thats a pretty useless feature. *edit* Oh- was going to tell you to get a remote line with the stock, but I just noticed you already have one. Good job. ![]() Edited by LordJovian |

^^ no it isnt. if you fold it it allows for more agile movements
with your gun so you dont have to worry about the stock being in your
way. id go with the folding stock you suggested.

Collapsible stocks allow you to adjust your stock to accomidate bunkers and trees, while still maintaining a steady shot.
Folding stocks allow you to have either a steady shot, or bringing your marker closer to your body for close quarters battles. Since I have a solid stock (non-adjustible), I would recommend a Collapsible stock, since you can maintain a steady shot, but allows you to make adjustments depending on your bunker/tree. |
