Topic: E-bolt and what? Posted: 21 July 2004 at 2:35pm |
I need consistancy and i need legal speed, so im ordering an e-bolt, but that only answers the speed. What should i do for consistancy? I think i should go to n2 but thats alot of $ for a good tank. I hope im not goanna be spending $400 on the ebolt and tank so what are some other answers to my problem? My current setup is..
98 Custom, Halo TSA LCD, CP one piece 12" barrel, 20 oz Co2 tank, e-bolt soon.
If an n2 tank is the answer, its gotta be inexpensive and have enough shots in it. (not like 400 shots, gotta be more)

Nitro probably would be best, you really don't want to run co2 with the
E-Bolt unless it's anti-siphioned, because if liquid co2 gets onto the
board it can fry it.

The E-Bolt doesn't work optimally on CO2. With a reg and anti-siphon it will work, but again, not what you really want to run.
For the $200.00-$225.00 you spend on the E-Bolt, I think it would be more prudent to look into a used ICD BKO or perhaps an Automag. Sell the 98 or keep it as a back-up, but either way, if you want more speed then you will look into another gun since the E-Bolt's board is capped at 13bps last time I checked.
Edit- I hate to break it to you, but %90.00 of the time, if you want the preformance...you have to pay the cash.

There still is 10%. your best bet to get your c02 to work better is to get a Palmer stabilizer and a anti siphon. The stabilizer is 88, but still cheaper than nitro and will definitly help out your consistancy.

That %10.00 comes from used equipment. So, there's a %90.00 chance that the equipment you buy for cheap is messed up and a %10.00 chance the gun was desperate/stupid and sold it real cheap. So are you willing to drop $50.00 on odds like that?

I'd get a Palmers Stab its prob the best upgrade for accuracy(consistancy) besides the barrel. I'd also put a anti-siphon on your CO2. Or if your up for buying NItro do that a get a torpedo.
