find a spring that is not hard. then take wire cutters and cut it to about the length of the stock spring..and adjust if necessary. Its better to start with the spring to long and go from their then to cut it too short and have to get another spring.

u need a trigger return or else ur gun could skip or the trigger would have to be pushed forward everytime u pulled it back to shoot.

You don't need the trigger return spring. I don't like the sloppy feel of the trigger without it, however. The spring is a minute percentage of the overal trigger pull. 99% is the pressure required to trip the sear. Changing the spring really doesn't make any difference. I prefer the stock spring. |

right, but the important part is when ur gun goes to recock. if u dont have a return trigger spring, the trigger will stay pulled back and the sear wont land on top of the trigger latch, itll push it into the trigger, making u have to push the trigger back manually. or the bolt could just skip and shoot again all together.

Ive heard that you can replace the sear spring by using pliars to bend the edges of a lighter spring to fit the little notches. It is SUPOSED t make a difference, but I have never tried.

It will recock, without the spring the sear hits the back of the trigger and pushes it forward, as it resets. But, it justs slops around after that. |

Changing to a lighter spring is obviously worth it, every little bit helps. http://beta.a5ownersgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10 This thread has trigger mods that make your stock trigger into an adjustable one, so you can shorten the travel of you trigger. The start point and the stop point can be adjusted after doing the grub screw mods. There is a good mod for the e-grip too, as well as how to stop the trigger wobble. I suggest reading this thread, it makes an incredable difference. |

If my posts seem strange it is because dial-up gives me too much time to think.
